Afternoon walk on the trail of Robert Emmet .Meet up in Londis carpark, opposite the Old Mill Pub at Old Bawn Tallaght at 3.00 OC. on Saturday afternoon 19th July 2003 .

Afternoon walk on the trail of Robert Emmet and his officers as they evaded capture in the Dublin hills after the July rebellion was called off.

19th July 2003 (organized Tar Isteach Bogtrotters)

Duration; depending on pace of walkers 2 to 3 hours.

Meet up in Londis carpark, opposite the Old Mill Pub at Old Bawn Tallaght at 3.00 OC. on Saturday afternoon.

Short drive to Ballinascorney wood, and start walk.

If possible please provide own transport, if not, lifts will be provided.

Visit Mass Rock on Ballymorefinn hill. (still in use)

Walk finishes in the enchanted Glenasmole, pick up to be arranged on the day.

Return to Old Mill for refreshments.
