An open meeting for chatting about new ideas for RTS will be held in the Cultivate Centre 15-19 Essex Street West, Dublin 8 at 7:30pm Wednesday 20th of August.

With European Car Free Day only 5 weeks away we would like to hear from new people and groups on ideas to help develop and expand RTS.

If you ever come to RTS imagine the fun and satisfaction of helping put the day together.

All welcome! Questions, comments etc, please email rts-dublin@yahoogroups.com

RTS? Don't forget to bring your mobile phones, so that you can all phone your rich Daddies to bring you back to Foxrock in their big Mercedes, after the RTS event is over.

You obviously know RTS inside out.

I like the idea of turning the streets into one big beautiful canvas but I guess my definition and the that of whoever was involved in the first photo differs a bit.

Liked the third one though.

"apparenty" is spelt "Apparently".
"u" is spelt "you".
And there is no such word as "Mispelt".

Knobheads/Nobheads can be spelled any way you like, as it's colloquial slang.

As for RTS, every RTS person I've ever encountered acts, looks, and sounds like a rich, spoilt D4 twat. Generally they are just a silly kids in a Fight Da Power *phase*. As are most people on www.indymorons.ie.

mmmmm such anger and fustration at the state of the spelling in the world today dear p.

looking forward to the 22nd...

It's so childish it makes me cringe for you people. The problem is that taxpayers money has got be spent on the cleanup after your day of frustrated "self-expression".

SEANIN IS A TROLL.

He/She/They post(s) comments to indymedia to try to get a rise out of people and waste their time. Trolls are an unfortunate feature of the internet. The are people who abuse the open publishing systems of the internet with behaviour that is intended to be destructive, either because of a twisted personality, or a desire to destroy the project.

DO NOT RESPOND. DO NOT FEED THE TROLLS.

What is the purpose of the red paint picture? Is this to show what RTS or Car Free days are about.

I don't see how throwing red paint over someone's window and wall achieves anything, except making it ugly and look run-down. This does absolutely nothing for the cause. This sort of thing rapidly turns great numbers of people off.

I suspect it was done by people who are confused about the issue and think it is a license to do as they want. The troubling thing is that it appears to be by somebody linked to RTS, or perhaps not? Can anyone clarify?

no its not art, (yeah, pull the other one lads)
but as a form of protest its definitely preferable to throwing rocks and picking fights with people like seanin, the troll under the bridge, and padraig, who has a thing about D4 accents.
i suppose you think the freedoms you enjoy and any sort of progressive advances in culture made in the last god-knows-how-long were obtained by nice clean Kum-by-ya candle lit vigils and the like.

Get real.

the streets will be reclaimed

Was from the last RTS when there was a stop-off at the Top-oil petrol station on Amiens st. Top Oil are the company who make a tidy profit refueling US warplanes in Shannon. I'll leave the meaning of the red paint as an exercise.
