Irish Anti War Movement (Dun Laoghaire) Public Meeting

The Dun Laoghaire branch of the Irish Anti War Movement is holding a public meeting on Tuesday September 16th at 8pm in the Kingston Hotel on the subject of "END THE OCCUPATION OF IRAQ & PALESTINE".

Speakers will include: an Eyewitness Report from Iraq by Dr Nooh Al Kaddo (Islamic Cultural Institute in Ireland). Dr Nooh is an Iraqi and has been in Iraq three times since the fall of Saddam Hussein's regime to witness the deepening crisis and human catastrophe engulfing the country under the US military occupation.

The meeting will also be addressed by Ali Halimeh (Palestinian Delegate General in Ireland). Ali is the chief representative of the Palestinian National Authority in Ireland and will talk about the growing crisis in the Israeli/Palestinian conflict.

The meeting will also be addressed by Harry Browne (Irish Times Columnist & US Citizen) & Richard Boyd Barrett (Chair, Irish Anti War Movement).

The meeting will outline the details of the September 27th International Day of Action protest here in Dublin where thousands are expected to take to the streets to protest against the occupations of Iraq and Palestine.
