Cleaning up Consumerism
ODDities take to the streets
Last Friday, 26th Nov, the direct action faction of NUIM Global Awareness Society, the ODDities, got out their rubber gloves and clown noses and went about cleaning up consumerism. 'We headed into the Granfton St. area and did some radical cheerleading and flyering on ethical consumerism. McDonalds, BT2, Champion Sports, the Stephens Green Shopping Centre and the Powerscourt Centre all got a taste of our radical cheers!
McDonalds and BT2 security reacted quite snottily indeed, but the Champion Sports and Powerscourt Centre security guards were real gents and smiled on happily. Celebrity on the day was Dev from Corrie. A frolicking fun day was had by all!
