Global Water Issues: 3 - part documentary series on NEAR fm 101.6

'Water Cannot Wait' is a new 3-part radio documentary series addressing global water issues and will be broadcast on Dublin's community radio station Near FM 101.6

Each of the programmes offers a unique insight into themes relating to the global water crisis, the politics of water and the commodification of water. Produced over the past year by documentary maker Muireann de Barra, the programmes draw on local and global examples of communities confronted with these issues and reports from Eritrea, Israel/ Palestine and Bolivia.

Programme One:
When The Rains Come - Water For Life in Eritrea
on Tuesday January 17th at 15.30-16.30

Programme Two:
Water Cannot Wait - The Politics of Water in Israel and Palestine
on Tuesday January 24th at 15.30 -16.30

Programme Three:
Water Wars - Water Privatisation in Bolivia
