"The philosophers have only interpreted the world, in various ways; the point is to change it." - Karl Marx.

The Connolly Youth Movement believes that organisation, education and agitation are the tactics behind progressive social change. The working class is the true inheritor of the fight for humanity, for freedom, and for socialism.

Education is the key to understanding one's own position in the world and one's possibility for betterment. The working class has its own history, its own culture, and its own future. However, the state will not teach this history, so it is up to ourselves to teach ourselves, and ultimately to free ourselves.

"None so fitted to break the chains as they who wear them, none so well equiped to decide what is a fetter." - James Connolly
