Gilardo was released later on this evening. Thanks to international pressure and solidarity.

The Peace Community wishes to thank everyone involved in campaigning for the release of Gilardo Tuberquia, who was released earlier this evening. Gilardo was illegaly arrested early this morning when he refused to register for an illegal census, carried out by The Security Forces at a road block near the peace community.
