That's brilliant, cheered me up this morning!
Perhaps they could engender a more positive response among the public if they ceased their attack on our democratic rights of assembly as expressed through their illegal and continuing poster removal policy.
Galway Green Mayor Neil O'Brolchain has already implemented measures to use biofuels and rejected the mayoral gas guzzler in favour of a hybrid vehicle.
So DCC are not the first to take eco measures on a council fleet.
What about the Lord Mayor's official car, he will soon be the proud owner (for a few months anyway) of 07-D-01 - part of long-standing deal with Volvo (I think) who provide a top of the range model every year. Will the Lord Mayor's new limo run on bio-fuel too?
Lets take a little look on the brightside here. I know that our Government and councils don't always get things right and we readily criticise them for it. So it is only right that we commend them on any positive action they take. This year there will be 18 more environmentally friendly vehicles on the road. And these are vehicles which are heavily used.
Also on the plus side the fuel is produced in Cork and sourced from Maxol not Shell.
Can Jackson , NOT accept delivery ,on behalf of 'Envirnometal D.C.C.' of the Six Toxic waste products that is dumped into our Water every day.
We only use half of one percent of the total water supply to drink.
The rest of the contaminated water is washed down the sinks and drains as a waste disposal method for the chemical industry at one part per million and more.
You are being poisoned and lied to.
And skip the Lord stuff.
