Irish Youth Media Development

Call for Proposals

Media facilitators and professionals, artists, activists, youth leaders,
teachers and any individuals with an interest in youth and media issues
are invited to submit proposals to facilitate workshops exploring democracy
through media.

Attending the workshops will be youth and adult delegates of
the upcoming conference on Youth, Media & Democracy Conference
hosted by DIT in Dublin, 18-19th April 2008.

Proposals should offer:
Relevant issue-based content
Accessible media forms
Practical hands on activities
Suitable platform for presentation

Up to 6 proposals will be selected and a facilitation fee will be paid to successful
applicants. There is no limit on the number of proposals that may be made
and cross-border/international applicants are very welcome.

Documentary footage of the workshops will be broadcast online.
