Republican Sinn Fein hold commemorative picket
On Saturday January 26 Republican Sinn Féin will be marking the 36th anniversary of the murder of 14 unarmed people by the British army’s Parachute Regiment in Derry on January 30 1972. From 12 Noon to 2.00pm a picket will be held on the island opposite the GPO in O’Connell St, Dublin.
Republican Sinn Féin will also be highlighting its opposition to any proposed visit to the 26 Counties by the Queen of England and the ongoing attempts to normalise England’s occupation of Ireland.
