Plastic fish a better option and less maintainence
Having been contacted by concerned individuals, many working in the airport. The wall mounted fish tanks on the ‘Street’ at Dublin Airport were again brought to our attention.
In 2006 AFAR did a demo at Dublin Airport and as a result had SEAHORSES removed from the ESTEE LAUDER Crème de la Mer tanks after hearing many Seahorses had died due to lack of feeding and regular care.
Now in 2009 the fish that had replaced the seahorses were suffering the same fate.

Now in 2009 the fish that had replaced the seahorses were suffering the same fate. Many died, were not fed and were seen eating each other. They had been just covered up and replaced by live fish.
However today we were informed they are being removed permanently and are being replaced by plastic fish at our suggestion. We told DAA we were prepared to demonstrate if the fish were not removed..
So at least this saga is over and no more fish need suffer at the hands of Estee Lauder/crème de la Mer.
