Solidarity action in Belfast (as well as London) shows continuing support of the Shell to Sea Campaign against the exploitation of public fossil fuel resources and the arrests of citizens in Rossport, West Ireland. In Belfast, on Saturday the 27th of March, the planning meeting of the Irish Climate Camp, took time out to express solidarity with the Shell to Sea campaign, and Pat O'Donnell in particular.

Jump To Comment: 1 2This issue strikes a chord with the people of Northern Ireland who have felt the oppression of the state in recent history. Belfast and the north of Ireland need to know more about what happens in their own island. Over the years I've talked to many in the North, who speak wistfully of the " Free State ". If only they knew.
