In Al Sheikh Jarrah neighbourhood in occupied East Jerusalem Israel engage in effective ethnic racist steps to forcibly alter the residency of a Palestinian neighbourhood

For the past year an ongoing struggle against ethnic cleansing has been taking place in the Palestinian neighbourhood of Sheikh Jarrah in Occupied East Jerusalem. The residents are facing home demolitions and being removed from their lands.

For the past year an ongoing struggle against ethnic cleansing has been taking place in the Palestinian neighbourhood of Sheikh Jarrah in Occupied East Jerusalem. The residents are facing home demolitions and being removed from their lands.

In solidarity with these residents' ongoing struggle, and as part of an international day of action that will also see protests worldwide and in 8 Israeli cities, the IPSC has organised a solidarity vigil for Sunday 8th August 2010, starting at 2pm at the GPO, O'Connell St, Dublin 1.
