The three routes used by ISIS to transport stolen oil to Turkey

For the past year, there have been numerous reports that ISIS have been transporting the oil they have stolen from Iraq and Syria, to Turkey and this has been greatly facilitated by the Turkish state at the highest levels. It is widely known the oil was being sold and exported by BMZ Ltd owned by Bilal Erdogan, President Erodgan's son. It is extremely unlikely that they are doing this for nothing and tens of millions have probably been siphoned off by the Erdogan family and other key officials and the Turkish economy has no doubt benefitted from an injection of cheap stolen oil sold below world market rates. The Russian Defense Ministry on Dec 2nd revealed the vast scale of the oil smuggling operation which somehow was missed by the NATO/US in the past 2 years.

In the last two months, the dramatic and sad photographs of 3 year old Aylan Kurdi, and his brother lying dead on the shores on a beach in Turkey have finally opened the curtain very slightly on the horrors and terror of war in Syria. It is hard to conceive the trauma of this family first seeing one of their other brothers beheaded by ISIS jihadists, then to flee and then for this man's wife and two remaining young children to drown in the sea whilst attempting to escape. If you were to listen to politicans from the UK all the way up to the present prime minister, you would think they were doing this so they could scab off the social welfare but as anyone knows, this was the act of a family desperate to flee the terror in their home country and get to safety at all costs. However Aylan Kurdi and his brother and mother aren't the only ones to drown or being killed in war, there are tens of thousands dead.

When government propaganda fails,
political policing kicks in...

The Anti-Austerity Alliance has today condemned the jailing of anti-water meter protestors at the behest of Denis O’Brien’s company GMC Sierra.

Anti-Austerity Alliance TD Paul Murphy said “The jailing of these protestors and the arrests in Tallaght is an attack on the right of communities to protest against the imposition of austerity measures, in this case the water charge and meters, which are being imposed by the government despite the massive opposition to them.

The president of Catalonia, Carles Puigdemont casts his vote - turn out is exceptionally high despite Spanish state violence. imageGood Cop/Bad Cop : Spanish Guardia Civil attack Catalan president's electoral vote centre. 10:17 Sun 01 Oct by iosaf mac diarmada 3 comments

A little over a week ago the Spanish state attempted to take control of the Mossos d'Esquadra the Catalan national police force whose men and women have sworn an oath of fealty to Catalonia and answer to the Catalan government "la Generalitat". The Mossos sidestepped all such attempts.
The Spanish ministry of the Interior ordered the Mossos to cordon off with "do not cross police" tape and guards all potential 6000+ electoral centres. A civil rights movement emerged intent on protecting those centres. Friday afternoon parents and teachers as well as children stayed
At 06h23 this morning I went to the school in my area, known to some as the "Forat". A neighbourhood which has a long and sometimes difficult history of confrontation policing (lives lost or ruined), and is considered by some the anarchist heart of the city. I joined the civil rights movement there.

textCivil liberties, the cashless society sets off alarm bells Mar 08 by Emma Robinson 0 comments

Despite political institutions keeping the subject on the low, whistleblowers and civil rights activists are raising flags regarding what they regard as a threat to fundamental freedom for States. A trend leading to the disappearance of physical currency, they fear, will inconspicuously and irreversibly invite totalitarianism into our lives.

textDo Germans really want to align themselves with 'evil'? Mar 05 by Anthony Ravlich 0 comments

Germany in the midst of a migrant crisis seems to be failing to defend its culture and way of life. Germany's leader, Angela Merkel, seems captured by the EU and UN. My book shows the latter created a new globally dominant ideology, Neoliberal Absolutism, which has determined western culture and global freedom for decline. I regard neoliberal absolutism as 'evil' because it seems extemely likely that people would not be able to think for themselves or even have a conscience of their own.

textThe Rising - What If? Feb 22 by Pat Waine 4 comments

We all heard the comment , the rebels of 1916 would turn in their grave at the Republic we now have. Well this article asks a question. That question is where is there any proof to back that up . One big hole in that argument is that most of "the rebels " survived and lived long enough to shape the Republic we ended up with

textResearching Islamic Terrorism in Europe. Feb 15 by Anthony Ravlich 0 comments

Saving Western civilization and global freedom. I am seeking funding to research Islamic terrorism in Europe. My recent book describes aspects that require further research e.g. on 10 Dec 2008 the UN extended the domain of secularism to cover the whole Universal Declaration. I the chapter on Bangladesh I show how this certainly appear to lead to an enormous eruption of violence by Muslim extremists. This indicates that the UN's decision may have led to a increase in Islamic terrorism globally but requires further research.

Since the beginning of the fascist war in Afrin, anti fascists carried the war back to the places where it is approved, concealed, supported and made possible. Until now, in more than 70 actions in 9 different countries, the agitators and intellectual arsonists of this war, aswell as the ones who profit from it, were called to account. Different revolutionary groups and structures are accomplishing their historical responsibilities, and have joined our call and actions. We send them our fiercest greetings.

imageMan convicted of blooding dogs on live animals has big win at hare coursing finals! Feb 13 4 comments

Another layer of shame has been added to the so-called National Coursing Meeting, the All-Ireland final of the blood sport, held in Clonmel over the weekend. A greyhound called Dicks Bimbo won the “Grace & Matt Bruton Champion Bitch Stakes final.”

imageSick dogs, poorer attendance, convicted animal abusers and not much media coverage…Coursing a dyin... Feb 12 Association of Hunt saboteurs 0 comments

Press Release. Re National Coursing Final 2018

Our group co-organised the large demonstration against Live Hare Coursing at the Powerstown Park Coursing Disgrace.

A quieter than usual and less well attended event. RTE did not even give much coverage, thankfully it’s a dying pastime which for us is the equivalent to child abuse.

Our biggest question was- why was a convicted man on charges of blooding gentle hares [to train his dogs} allowed participate?
He was Ger Mc Kenna’s son Owen Mc Kenna who was filmed at a Tipperary track some years ago. Journalist Donal McIntyre secretly filmed McKenna and others clearly blooding the dogs, for a BBC documentary on the greyhound industry. A court case ensued and Judge Michael Patwell sentenced Owen McKenna and a number of other defendants to prison terms.

Please see link (below) to footage of the blooding session (part of the documentary entitled “On the Line”) in which you will see Mr. McKenna calmly inflict pain and suffering on the captive rabbits.
The ICC should now be asked to explain its position…how can it possibly stand over McKenna’s involvement in the National Coursing Meeting if, as it claims, it does not blooding.

imageSome greyhounds withdrawn from National Coursing Meeting owing to “high contagious infection”! Feb 09 0 comments

The spotlight among animal lovers will on the plight of the hares for the next three days (Saturday February 10th, 11th, and 12th) in Clonmel, Co. Tipperary, but spare a thought for the greyhounds. Several have already been withdrawn from the “National Coursing Meeting” due to outbreak of a highly contagious infection in kennels in four different counties.

textShannon Airport Should Not Be Used To Cheer Troops On To War Jan 24 ShannonWatch 0 comments

Shannonwatch strongly condemns the facilitation of a meeting between US Vice President Mike Pence and US troops at Shannon Airport on Saturday last. The use of the airport by foreign troops on their way to a war zone is in breach of Irish neutrality, and the decision to hold a public display of support for a foreign leader promoting war on Irish soil is dangerous and unwelcome
