Time for Starmer to be honest about what Net Zero means, says Chris Morrison. Rationing, blackouts and travel restrictions in five years. That's according to a Government-funded report that, for a change, says it plain.

Meet the woman so afraid of climate change she made her husband get the snip and refuses to have children. It's "selfish" to bring children into the world "when we don't know if it's going to exist in 100 years".

Greek Pensioner Shoots Himself On Front Of Parliament In Protest

category international | eu | other press author Wednesday April 04, 2012 19:07author by lefty Report this post to the editors

A greek pensioner and world war II hero, shot himself on front of the greek parliament to die with some dignity rather than waiting until he had to search for food in garbage cans, and becoming a burden to hs children. Apparently Suicide rates have soared in greece.

at central Syntagma square in Athens (Reuters / Yorgos Karahalis)

"A 77-year-old Greek man has committed suicide in central Athens by the nation’s parliament, shooting himself with a handgun in apparent financial desperation.

Eyewitness reports say that the man shouted “So I won’t leave debts for my children” before turning the gun on himself. Others claimed he said nothing.

Greek state media reports the man left a suicide note saying “The Tsolakoglou government has annihilated all traces for my survival. And since I cannot find justice, I cannot find another means to react besides putting a decent end [to my life], before I start searching the garbage for food and become a burden for my child."

Georgios Tsolakoglou headed the Greek collaborationist government during the German occupation of Greece in the Second World War.

Killing himself didn't do the Greek economy any good.

author by fredpublication date Mon Apr 01, 2013 20:55author address author phone Report this post to the editors

He wasn't trying to fix the Greek economy dumb ass.

He just wanted to die while he still had some dignity left.

More and more people may be taking the same route in the coming years

as what is left of our dignity is robbed from us too.

Who says financial manipulation is a "victimless crime"?? People die because of suicide driven by debt and shame. People die because hospital waiting lists have gotten longer. People die on trollies in hospitals, waiting to be seen. People die because there are no gardai to protect them in their communities. People die homeless on the street because the state cannot house them. People die of hypothermia because their electricity bills are too high and they are afraid to run them up more.

The financial terrorists and banksters should rot in jail.

But they don't seem to be do they?

Seanie Fitzpatrick was seen recently hanging around celebrities and other financial terrorists, drinking expensive wine and partying at a 700 pounds a head party in the Grosnover, London recently.
http://www.broadsheet.ie/tag/sean-fitzpatrick/

He was "partying" with the likes of Denis O'Brien (corrupting tax cheat), Bono (fake humanitarian tax cheat and idiot mouthpiece for G8), Prince William (disgusting royal parasite), Dermot Desmond (haughey's paymaster ). Birds of a feather and all that.

"Well we all partied" - Enda kenny ( traitor and snivelling EU state resource privatisation supervisor)

That's very debateable Enda!. It's certainly clear you like partying with Denis too. But the rest of us weren't "partying" at 700 a head with the likes of Prince William and Bonio, when we really should have been in mountjoy prison.
