• Two emaciated ex- racing Greyhounds have been handed into a rescue in North County Dublin having been sold to children in Dublin.
• One is tattooed with a number that is illegible , the other a male is believed to be the female’s son.
• Both are emaciated and have wounds on their body, they have bald patches and the Female in particular is a pure case of neglect.
In the week when the Animal health and Welfare Bill is being finalised we appeal for major strict reforms to be included and implemented.

We invite the press to examine the attached photographs of the dogs now in the care of Dog rescue Ireland.

• There will be a demonstration at Dail Eireann on Thursday at 1pm calling on all caring people to contact their local TDs demanding proper legislation not just lip service to this inmportant piece of legislation. The demonstration on Thursday will have some TDs present at 1.15pm. It is organised by the Association of Hunt Saboteurs and supported by other Animal Rights groups.

Please highlight this further proof that existing legislation is failing miserably in protecting innocent animals from human abuse and neglect.
The Dogs are being cared for by DOG RESCUE IRELAND who will endeavour to rehome these two dogs together.
