Galway, August 22, 2013 - On Saturday, August 24th, at 2:00 PM, animal rights activists will be on Grafton street, Dublin as part of a global day of protests for animal rights. They will hold synchronized street theater at several locations, including McDonald’s, for its sale of animals as food, and Bernardo's furs. Strong visuals are expected. The international march for animal liberation was originally conceived in Tel Aviv, where animal rights activism has surged and the vegan population has increased to 5% over the past nine months.
Following the protest, we will go to Dublin's vegan restaurant, Lurve, to show that there is another way, more compassionate and more ecological.
