Fuoride enhances lead uptake This is just one of the hundreds of studies indicating that ingesting fluoride is deleterious to human health. Unnecessary and health-robbing fluoride chemicals are added to public water supplies because it satisfies the political will of powerful special interest groups. It's up to each of us to demand fluoridation be stopped. Fluoride chemicals added to public water supplies, boosts lead absorption in lab animals' bones, teeth and blood, report Sawan, et al. (Toxicology 2/2010). Earlier studies already show children's blood-lead-levels are higher in fluoridated communities, reports Sawan's research team. |

Dead right! Sensible countries who respect the rights of their citizens to make their own choices
don't do this anymore. Put fluoride on your teeth if you want by brushing with a fluoride toothpaste.
But please don't force others to drink it in the water supply involuntarily.
or pay for putting it into the 49% of our treated water that currently leaks into the ground.
Mind you sadly most people in Ireland drink much higher concentrations of an equally bad chemical every night of the week in the pub voluntarily. Alcohol seriously damages brain cells, hence inevitably affects IQ and causes lots of other problems.
IMHO fluoride in the water is wrong, but there are probably worse things...
