Jump To Comment: 3 2 1For a number of years, sometimes while working abroad, I have been struck by the single-minded dedication of a small group of people in Louth who concern themselves with environmental and mental health issues. The reports periodically posted on Indimedia about AGMs and mental health workshops show what a small, local and committed group of people who know and trust each other can achieve. Incidentally, is Archbishop Michael Hynes still actively running his diocese, or is he an emeritus retired clergyman? Good luck to him and your colleagues whatever the case. Your work operates at a different tempo from many campaigning groups that publicise their activities on this and other sites.
Saturday's workshop was a complete success. A report and photos which are being uploaded are available at the link given below. I think the main conclusion was that housing is the answer to homelessness and the county and city councils should take responsibility for building suitable housing.
