Free a Woman Scientist

category international | rights, freedoms and repression | opinion/analysis author Friday February 20, 2004 13:14author by Jean Holmes Report this post to the editors

For Truth

The Iraqi woman scientist Dr. Huda Ammash resarched about the US use of Depleted Uranium during the US Gulf War 1991

Now Dr. Ammash is continuously detained by US army in Iraq. This was recently disclosed by journalists who wanted to interview her. Previously US said that she was set fee in 2003. But she is still detained in an unknown place in Iraqby US army.
US accusation is that Dr. Huda Ammash was reseaching forthe production of Mass Destructive Weapones.
The truth is that she is detained endlessly for her disclosure in her articles about the US use of Depleted Uranium and other destructiove bio, chemicalweapons on Iraqi civilians in their shelters,1991US Gulf war on Iraq!
Fetuses in their mothers' wombs were disformed ;either it was stillbirth of deformed babies or born alive babies.
But the tragic,is that the disformed babies grew to a very sad disformation that they look like almostdifferentfromthe human race .Maily in the face, where the eyes, noses and mouths are displacedallover the face.
Dr. Ammash wrote about that after 1991 US Uranium on the wombs of Iraqi pregnant women in their shelters.
I myself metan Iraqi girl wh was born a victim of US Uranium. Her appearance was frightful ,tragic. Her father who was accompanying her told me,that her mother was pregnant when Us bombed the shelters in 1991on Iraq!
So Dr. Ammash is detained in an unkown cell in Iraq by USA for disclosing the mal-effects of Depleted Uranium aand other bio, nuclearand chemical destructive weapons, AND NOT RESEARCHING FOR PRODUCING mASS dESTRUCTIVE WEAPONS!
SHE IS A GREAT HUMANIST ,ETHICAL SCIENTIST AND DESERVES FULL SUPPORT FROM TRUTH LOVING PEOPLE AND ETHICAL SCIENTISTS.

Thank you
