category louth | racism & migration related issues | other press author Saturday January 29, 2005 18:24author by A Student Report this post to the editors

FOR years it was the dream of every self-respecting Irish student: after a year denouncing British oppression in the college bar, the only way to spend the summer was sipping Guinness surrounded by plastic leprechauns in a Boston pub.

Five years ago, thousands of students camped out overnight to get a visa to spend four months in the Irish-loving paradise of Bill Clinton and the Kennedys. Now George W. Bush is begging them to visit.

so you can pay double or triple the prices for living in DEAR old Ireland. And get a quater less choice in products or services than you can for the same money in the USA.

its actually better exchnge rate in Canada, where a lot are choosing this year. And you don't have to give biometric information and have a tattoo on your forehead or have some nice american lady poking her finger up ur jaxy ala Abu Ghraib.

And if you stay in this country you have less chance of being drafted and being expected to kill and possibly be killed. Even if you are not drafted you still run a greater risk of violent death.
