Rejoice! For we are at the dawn of a "golden age of nuclear", according to the UK Government. There's just one wrinkle, says Ben Pile. It's reactors for shiny data centres, but unreliable renewables for the rest of us.

Sitting in Stormont a denial of the H-Block hunger strikers

Sitting in Stormont a denial of the H-Block hunger strikers -- Ó Brádaigh

"Now some of those who would not give even a cup of water to those struggling for Irish national independence down the years, were climbing on the bandwagon of material gain and self- aggrandisement. It was a far cry from the beds of pain of the hunger strikers in the H-Blocks to the comfort of ministerial seats under British rule in Stormont and the cosiness and luxury of heavily-subsidised English offices in Westminster."

Sitting in Stormont a denial of the H-Block hunger strikers

"The bogus claim made by the Provos that the Stormont Agreement of 1998 was a logical succession to the hunger-strike deaths of 1981 was equivalent to the Free Staters' assertion that the 26-County State arose out of the Easter Rising of 1916," said the President of Republican Sinn Féin, at a 25th anniversary commemoration of the death of hunger-striker Raymond McCreesh at his grave in Camloch, south Armagh on Sunday, May 21.

Republicanism finally sank below the water with Adam's embarrassing grovelling to Paisley at Stormont. As for the so called new IRAs, wise up! You look like children playing cowboys and Indians. Sure the Brits have you well sown up with touts. If they can infiltrate the PIRA so high up then what chance have you?

The taunting abuse as you refer to it is my commentary on the joke that all threads of Republicanism have become. It's just typical of people like yourself to call others who disagree with you Trolls, touts and cops. You read like a right old Troll yourself.

I have to agree with Willie Nilly Republicans have become a joke, nominating Paisley The arch bigot as First Minister is akin to nominating George Bush for the Nobel Peace Prize. It wouldn't surprise me if Sinn Fein did that too.
