event notice
Sunday November 12, 2006 14:49 by Tara Campaigner
There is to be a meeting on the hill of Tara, on Tuesday the 14th of November at 9.00pm, with welcome from the vigil, to discuss tactics and plans for protecting Tara from the proposed M3. Following on from the Navan Awareness March for Tara there is to be a meeting at the camp vigil Tee-pee on the hill of Tara this coming Tuesday the 14th of November at 9.00pm. The meeting will be both an opportunity for new voices and perspectives to be heard and a forum to brainstorm ideas for the future direction of the campaign. With the forthcoming general election we have a unique chance to reopen the debate over the proposed motorway and highlight the serious shortcomings of the current government's transport strategy for County Meath. Pooling our individual talents we must connect quickly and decisively with those in County Meath and Ireland who oppose the destruction of our sacred heritage. Only by speaking as one will our voice be loud enough to attract those who will stand with us for Tara. Join us on Tuesday night to help us achieve this aim! |
