Activist group to use takings to help out Shell in debt crisis Shell Exploitation and Production Ireland posted an operating loss of nearly fifty million euro last week. However, today, in an act of characteristic generosity, the Dublin Shell to Sea campaign, helped by the Vincent McGrath, The Rossport Reel, Néilidh Mulligan, the Quare Hawks, and lots of people willing to pay €12 to listen to some fine Irish music at the Cobblestone last night, has decided to pay off the debts of the beleaguered company, to make sure that they in fighting form next year. |
