Iran is Not Rational. It?s Part of the Islamist Death Cult Wed Jun 18, 2025 09:00 | Clive Pinder
The West?s Cold War-era doctrine of mutually assured destruction relied on rational actors. Iran is not rational, says Clive Pinder. It is eschatological. Islamism is not a deterrable enemy. It is a theological death cult.

Sceptics lose all their scepticism when faced with claims the Government could block out the Sun, says Ben Pile. But this is no less a delusion of grandeur than the idea human CO2 emissions are controlling the temperature.

Short-sighted and thin-skinned Western political elites have fumbled into the creation of an autonomous, self-reinforcing censorship regime that serves no real purpose other than its own propagation, laments Eugyppius.

Jump To Comment: 1 2"essentially a woman's issue"- says Colin. Why should you profer your own opinion then, you being of the less fair sex? Because all issues of a moral nature effect society, of which we are all apart, and concern the criteria of what constitutes good and bad-this therefore being a human issue, not a particularised (gender) issue. If a woman can, or should, abort her child because of its defects (mental/physical etc) then we have to rethink the status we accord to the disabled members of our community. Most of us know someone with severe mental and/or physical disabilities, how should we treat these people? as if they should not have existed? or as having inviolable dignity? not just a woman's issue Colin.
A quick thought experiment for you Colin, where did you spend the first nine months of your life? a socialist workshop? a feminist think tank? no, your mothers womb. You are now a fully grown male (presumably), is abortion solely a woman's issue?
There are virtually no children in holland with downes syndrome- why?-abortion.
There are far more baby boys in china than baby girls. why?-abortion. (what do the feminists have to say about that?)
solely an issue for the women of those respective countries? has the world gone a little mad?
Did my eyes decieve me when I read that the attorney mentioned above is a "human rights" specialist??? Is that a msiprint or a horrible, horrible joke? How can a supporter of "human rights" advocate abortion, any more than they could support the death penalty or genocide?? We live in a sick world and the example of the hijacking of the term human rights by those advocating murder is an example. For Shame.
