Anti Mayo gas robbery Clowns in patrick's parade takeover shocker

category cork | environment | news report author Saturday March 17, 2007 17:37author by Mevin Kyers - The "majority" Report this post to the editors

Clowns Infiltrate Cork City parade in defiance of Mayo gas robbery

Seven idiotic clowns today infiltrated the patrick's day parade in Cork City with banners protesting the ongoing situation in Erris, Co Mayo. Photos to follow

The unruly gaggle were invited by parade officials and the gardai, innocent of their true intentions to "do whatever they liked" in the celebration of the birth of christianity in Ireland. They took up their position just behind a marching band and lightened the atmosphere while they waited to carry out their dastardly deed. As the parade passed the dignitaries stand two fat clowns, overwhelmed by the charismatic aura of Cork's leading citizens collapsed on the tarmac and had to be assisted by their fellows who unleashed from their bulging bellies two banners emblazoned with the words "END MAYO GAS ROBBERY" and "BERTIE PUMPS FOR SHELL", causing the commentator to faaaade off gradually before giving an amazing performance of avoiding what was actually happening in front of her eyes and the eye of hundreds of others. A classic case of the elephant in the living room. An onlooker in the crowd was quoted as saying " Goddamn its disgraceful they should all be shot! I didn't come here to have to deal with uncomfortable realities".
Contrary to expectations this unruly mob, now revealing themselves as nothing more than extremist troublemakers were allowed to finish the march waving their banners and handing out leaflets polluting the fragile minds of thousands of honest citizens with their dangerous propaganda. Perhaps it was felt that removing them at this stage would have been more trouble than it was worth.
In an exclusive interview with one of the clown terrorists we gain an insight into the twisted minds that indulge in this disgusting behaviour. One of the clowns said of the gardai; " it was extraordinary, it was as if they couldn't see us" going on to add that the onlookers were "too used to being spectators to participate in their own lives, we had a great time and didn't hurt anyone and went home satisfied". Perhaps they should think of all the people whose feelings they hurt. Let's hope that they aren't setting a bad example to other misguided souls, imagine the chaos if every tom dick and harry with exhibitionist tendencies and axes to grind decided to do the same thing. We'd have to cancel all public events and outlaw bright clothing and face paint.
