Poland's government proposes anti-gay laws which breach European & Human rights

Poland ought be at the top of the agenda of any politically clued in European BGLT activist or anyone (such as myself) who merely supports their rights.

Last week the deputy minister of education in the quite frankly weirdest administration in the EU anounced a new bill which will prohibit any person of declared homosexuality or any person who supports "homosexuality" from teaching in either schools or universities. the Polish government has officially suggested & proposed legislation for employment descrimination on grounds of sexual orientation & moreover - proposed legislation which strips citizens of their right to free-expression

Of course this will contravene directive 76 of year 2000 of the EU.

You don't need to be a time lord to stop this. But at least notice it.
The same minister Marek Orzechowski has also demanded a pan-EU law banning abortion (I'll leave that story to my colleague Chris Murray - she's already broken it here - http://indymedia.ie/article/81591 and a very worrying story it is ) & then minister Orzechowski called for the EU to combat homosexual propaganda.

I don't know if this news or "opinion analysis". I'm just a bit shocked that none of the homosexual or bisexual contributors noticed it & brought out attention to it. Do lilly white feckless lazy straight types like me have to watch out for their rights on their backdoor as they frett about the NYC paddy's day parade?

Because behind it all - this is "opinion analysis" the largest migrant group in Ireland is not anarchist as its contribution to Indymedia ireland might have you think. It is rather going to be within a generation more generally right wing and nasty than anything you had ina blueshirt before. That's traditional values - got nothing to do with the PSNI nor the beer in your supermarkets. The Polish regime is the most worrying in the EU. told you before. Now would one of you LGBT experts get your pretty little asses together & cover this story?

BTW the article of the EU single european act/treaty which covers this is number 15. The European commission has warned Poland it faces sanctions - it ought be expelled quite frankly & then sued for every cent it has received back.
