World Poetry Slam Champion at Town Hall Theatre
World Poetry Slam Champion at Town Hall Theatre

THIS TUESDAY at The Town Hall Theatre, Galway

BUDDY WAKEFIELD, the two-time World Individual Slam Champion, US National Poetry Slam Champion Katie Wirsing, and Andrea Gibson are coming to the Town Hall on Tuesday at the Town Hall Theatre Studio at 9pm, the three poets will present I Am A Lagan, a rocking verb slinging bull ride deconstructing everything from Bush’s political vision to their own deepest desires.

The show will be preceded by a 90-minute workshop - Writing for performance and how to perform spoken word - from 6.30pm at the studio venue. Buddy, Andrea, and Katie will work with either the pieces people have just written, with work people bring in, or both.

Tickets are €10/8 from the Town Hall on 091 - 569777. Tickets for the workshop are €15/13 (which includes entry to the show) from the Town Hall or by emailing maverickpress@gmail.com
