A weekend for sharing the challenges of non formal education.

Education sharing weekend 12th and 13th of July in Gort, co Galway.
A weekend for parents and children to share experiences and learn from each other.

This camping weekend is for those parents who are thinking or that already are living education in a non formal way.
Are you homeschooling? , Do you believe in free active education where children lead their own education and parents engage in the process with them ?
We are a group of parents who have been working and knowing each other in an educational and personal context for the past year and we would like to invite other people/parents that like us are exploring and learning to find more suitable ways of education for their children.
The idea of the weekend is to create a safe space where we can all talk and share our believes, challenges and ideas/concepts of education and to create links between us.

You will need to bring a tent, sleeping bags, food to share (to be discussed over the phone when you ring to confirm).

When: 12th and 13th of July, you can come the day before if that suits better, otherwise at 12 pm on the 5th.
Where: Gort, contact Martha for direntions or I'll post map/directions shortly.

We advise those who come to the weekend to arrive as soon as they can (in the morning) on saturday 12th to put up the tents and have lunch before we start.
There is limmitted spaces so early booking is important. Closing date for booking 6th of July.
Bring your musical instruments for the bonfire/music for disco.
