Jump To Comment: 1 2It is perhaps no coincidence that Strache chose Linz - Hitler’s favourite town - to launch his election campaign . According to a Spiegel report of the event Strache told the audience :
“to get an apartment you just have to wear a headscarf." His audience of about 2,000 people -- young men with tattoos on their calves and blondes in skin-tight jeans, but also retirees carrying their checkered shopping bags -- applauds enthusiastically. FPÖ supporters standing behind Strache hold up small signs that read: "The Homeland Needs the Middle Class," and "Asylum Fraud Means a Flight Home."
In Austria and here in Hungary tonight the news on TV and the web is that Jorg Haider downed a bottle of vodka in a Gay Bar chatting up his (possible) boyfriend before his road accident...
