Workshops will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.

The program includes a morning of presentations and performances from organizations such as Mayfield Community Arts Centre, Irish Aid and La Cambalacha, Guatemala.
The afternoon session includes an intense program of workshops focusing on case studies and practical examples from our partner organizations: Theatre of the Oppressed, street art, poster art, mural painting, Reclaim the Streets and creating ideal cities from waste. Do not be afraid to get your hands dirty!
The conference offers an opportunity for networking with artists, youth workers, professionals from the development education sector, young people from Ireland, Sweden, Nicaragua, Guatemala, Hungary and Colombia and volunteers and facilitators from our partner organizations: FUNARTE, Nicaragua, La Cambalacha (Guatemala), Corporacion Cultural Renovacion and Desearte Paz (Colombia), Mural Moral (Hungary) and Kultur & Fritid (Sweden).
The Conference marks the first day of Globalfest09: a fortnight celebrating youth participation in community arts and development education.
