Rossport Solidarity Group take on Van Oord

An account of yesterdays (16/06/2009) action at the UK offices of Van Oord (operating dredgers in Broadhaven Bay) and in solidarity with the Rossport Solidarity Camp and the people of Erris in their long struggle against Shell.

I hope they received you cordially; Van Oord's statements on Health & Safety should prevent them working at risk to public & protestors, particularly with the bunch of violent nasties that pass for Shell 'security'.

Van Oord have given guarantees to Irish sub contractors that they will not be prosecuted for breaking EU directives and working in the SAC.

So Van Oord believe they are above the law .Complaints should be made to EU regarding the destruction of the SAC`s .Irish subcontractors should be prosecuted.
