Fur Farm Exposé Tour - Part 4 - Donegal

category donegal | animal rights | event notice author Monday July 20, 2009 14:58author by Laura Broxson - Coalition to Abolish the Fur Tradeauthor email caftireland at gmail dot comauthor address PO Box 11019, Dublin 2 Report this post to the editors

Hi,

Saturday 25th July will be the 4th, and final, part of our "Fur Farm Exposé Tour", and so we'll be traveling to Donegal (home to 3 fur farms and the Irish Fur Breeder's Association!), where we'll be teaming up with the Donegal Vegan Group.

Again, there won't be a mini-bus, so please get back to us as soon as possible to reserve a seat in one of the cars! Also, if you'd be willing to offer additional transport for the day, please get in touch.

The majority of us will be staying over in Letterkenny for the night, so that we can leaflet there the next day as well, but for those who need to get back to Dublin, here are the bus times:

The plan for the day:

Meet at: 9am sharp, Sat. 25th July, outside the Hugh Lane Art Gallery (Parnell Square, Dublin 1) for pick-up.

We'll be going to Letterkenny, Co. Donegal, where we'll spend 2 hours doing a fur farm information table and also leafleting the town.

Then, we'll be heading to the Glenties, Co. Donegal for a big, noisy protest outside Tazetta Ltd fur farm - and we even hope to go on to one of the fur farms in Killybegs too.

For those staying over, I plan on having us back in Dublin by about 5pm/6pm on Sunday.

Please remember to get back to us as soon as possible if you want to come!

Thanks,

Laura Broxson
