Pissed off dosent come close..

Here is a tune i wrote in a pissed off state, which seems to be the condition of this State...pissed off. Seems hard to get radio play for this song even though most people who hear it like it....or hate it, which is even better.
Bank bailouts, hospital closures, unemployment benefit cut, job losses, creeping Facism, new water tax/carbon tax/ levies and wagecuts, politicans expenses, bankers bonuses ontaxpayers money........

War, torture, genocide, suicide, and the fuckers take a fucking holiday......may they never return.....

Well done Paul this is a classic, i do hope you can get it on the airwaves, Fianna Fails RTE will try to avoid you of course, but don't give up trying . The song is too good to let the scumbags deny it's being heard. I am certain that if you can't manage to get a wide audience for this, the likes of Christie Moore will be only too delighted to add it to his collection.
YOUR TALENT IS NEEDED KEEP UP THE FIGHT.

Great song! And we need more of this sort of creative reaction. You definitely should get it on YouTube or send it, perhaps, to a radio station other than RTE, who will ignore it because they have to or they'll get a, eh, call from a government office. Meantime, try this link: song about the Salthill Airshow in Galway.

Sounds like an organic revolution is shaping up and down, high and low, big and small, In Ireland. This time don't forget to elect woman equally, in all levels throughout society. Great Song for rallying the new organic commune.

It encapsulates a lot of the anger that is seething in "our new socie-tee".

Keep writing, keep singing and keep protesting.

Geat to see song-writers tackling political issues at this grave time, while our writers on the other hand keep shtum. Posting songs on the internet also means that other people outside the island can learn of what is going on here. The Salthill Airshow should not be supported, certainly not be artists.

Class song, really really enjoyed it - will pass it on, I hope it gets great circulation and audience - and would urge anyone to help out in this regard.

Indeed it is now one of my songs on in the background as inspIration when writting against such injustices and wrongs.

Should be a Classic
