If the BBC's Standards Committee, which is reviewing the corporation's coverage of climate change, wants a good example of bias, it should take a look at its report of recent floods in Pakistan, says Paul Homewood.

This year women activists in Derry took to the streets again to highlight International Womens Day.

Activists used many forms of tactics such as murals, stencil art as well as music to express their solidarity with women in struggle across the world on March 8th.

A very successful International Womens Day was completed in Sandinos Bar, Water Street with the Femme Fatale 'Open Mic' celebration as many women artists took to the stage.

The British Tribes and their matriarchy were conquored around 42 AD onwards to this very day. Sextus, the Roman Slaveholder was credited with the destruction on behalf of the empire of Rome that could not have a 'free lifestyle' when they intended enslavement to the Emporer and all Roman Slaveholding men.

With the new millenium one would think the believers would make sure that the 50-50 electing of woman would again be returned allowing women to access half the wealth, and half the law making being they are half the peolple, thusly doubling democracy and laying the base for the begining return of the matriarchy in each and every country world wide. Seeing that the material laws of harmony and joy are dependent on such a return, I would have thought there would be a great rush to do so.

Clara Zetkin was doing a leading thing one hundred years ago when she moved the resolution at the socialist convention, to make March 8, international woman's day globally. It will be so for ever and a day, but there is some updating needed to bring the liberation struggles of women and men to a more perfect unity than just only one day a year. Restoration of the matriarchy is due and overdue so that the man, woman question gets resolution back to its natural ecological organic green balance of a celebration of life for women each and every day of the year.

The modern trade union movement world wide has moved to forward the workers to organize 'Gender Parity' which is a good beginning to bring about the needed changes and to make sure that the species obtains economic, cultural, political, judicial, and religios equalibrium. again. That move is on-going and holds promise for a future that does not do aggressive wars, pollution, poverty, unemployment, gender, racist, and religious discrimination, which is endemic to the Monopoly Capitalist Society. The return of the matriarchy heralds the end of all empires and its return brings back material joy and harmony which is the natural condition of the man woman question in our specie.

For me a call for matriarchy makes no more sense than perpetuating patriarchy. Shouldn't the goal of feminism be to destroy power? not just flip the coin to the other side. I want to live in a world without sexism, racism, and homophobia. For this to become true we need dismantle power structures and any "archy" except perhaps anarchy has no place in an egalitarian society. We are all equal, It's the power structures around us that fool us into believing otherwise.
