National - Event Notice Thursday January 01 1970 National Forum: 'There Is An Alternative'![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Dublin Council of Trade Unions In view of the then oncoming cuts in public and social spending, cuts which have come to pass in the December budget and at other times, which have transferred the cost of the economic crisis on to working people, the poorest and the most defenceless, while billions of euro are handed over to the banks to bail them out, the Dublin Council of Trade Unions successfully proposed the following Motion to the 2009 Biennial Conference of the Irish Congress of Trade Unions: |
