I agree with my good friend and colleague, Opie - that Michael Martin fellow is a thoroughly reprehensible individual, quite obviously in abject terror of ever actually making a honourable position on such an important point of principle.

He is an utter bounder, a cad, a complete reprobate of the highest order - perfectly normal behaviour for a Fannia Fail Politician though - thread softly and carry no stick at all seems to be his motto

Sharon you and your comrades are just the other side of the coin. You havnt copped on that your war is over. The majority of people on this island want peace. You have no mandate from the people and will never have. So please get back in your box.

Hi Lizzie !
I never took to any side of that particular coin, Lizzie , nor will I.
It's Westminster that should 'cop on' to the fact that its imperialist adventures are well and truly over , and realise that its presence here is still causing political turmoil : and I would be of the opinion that "the majority of people on this island" , or any other, "want peace" , Lizzie , but that goal would seem to be unattainable , here, whilst the jurisdictional issue remains unresolved.
Also, our history is full of those with "no mandate from the people" , so you will need a big 'box' to put us all in.
Thanks!
Sharon.

There are many heros that have fought and died for Ireland and deserve their place in history but you and ilk wouldn't be fit to polish their boots.

We remember your heroic comrades in Galway protecting Liam Mellows from being dressed up to make a point against torture and illegal imprisonment. We remember their disgusting racism and how you lied to defend their actions.

author by Sharon. - Individual.publication date Sat Jun 12, 2010 00:24author address author phone Report this post to the editors

Hi Lizzie!
Those same heros would have been spat on and classed as 'unrepresentative dissidents' by you and those like you. You should remember that , when next you stand at the GPO with Fianna Fail to honour those same 'dissidents'.
Your comment on the Galway protest is not supported by the actual facts of what occured ; read it here for yourself -
http://www.indymedia.ie/article/85956
- you'll notice that whatever rascist comments were uttered came from a group of young people that were present before RSF were there , and that the actions of those that attempted to blame RSF for their own folly was later apologised for by the same people ie those who tried to do the 'dressing up' of the Mellows statue.
You'll have to do better than that , Liz!
Thanks,
Sharon.

Sharon you are still repeating the same lie over and over but it is still a lie. You were not there that day but you are prepared to lie for those who were. You’re a class act.

Those heroes were spat at and sacrificed their lives and for what? So apologists like you can invoke their name to rationalise heinous crimes like the Omagh bombing. Your comrades were the ones spitting. They were spitting racist bile into the faces of their fellow country men. Spitting because they didn’t like the colour of their skin. Spitting because they didn’t like their accents. Spitting because they are racists. You defend them. You defend racism.

The apology you got was from a lily livered liberal who does not have conviction of his actions. You apology was in the form of one ill informed member disassociating the IPSC from a very active member who has done more for the people of Palestine than you or the silly letter writer will ever do. The man you grossly insulted on this site is in the West Bank, Palestine, risking his own life while documenting the daily struggle of those people. And you sit at home lying through your teeth spewing your bile.

Don’t worry I will not be attending an FF or RSF or any other political party commemoration year or next this. You both have blood of the innocent on your hands.

Any chance of Lizzie and Sharon taking this little spat elsewhere?

Sharon's was the only poster of the two to post anything of relevance on this thread as it was about people meeting the Israeli Ambassador, the very thing the protest was about.

Sharons has only put her comments up to score political points again Martin McGuiness. Smear tactics are her stock in trade on this site. I am not supporting Marty here but then Sharon is not supporting the Palestinians with these photos.

There are not many websites that will allow Rublican Sinn Fein to post so freely so she might show respect for the other users here. Sadly she does not and I will remind her of her lies agains two young sensitive men who she brutalised with her comments here.

Hi John !
I agree , this continuation of a two-year-old discussion is not 'at home' on this particular thread and, as such , if she wants, Lizzie can reactivate the original thread ( http://www.indymedia.ie/article/85956 ) and we'll talk there. And I hope she does - her 'case' is faulty and deserves to be , once again, exposed as such.
Thanks!

Hi Lizzie!
The comments and pics I published on this thread , in the post in question, highlight the hypocrisy of career politicians in relation to this particular issue - vocal support for the Palestinians whilst, at the same time, wheeling and dealing with anti-Palestinians.
Please note that I post here as an individual , but am curious as to which websites will not allow RSF to post on them? I don't know of any - can you give me the URL's of same, please , as I would like to query the moderators etc of those sites as to why they have barred RSF?
Thanks!

Sharon, could you take your pathetic agenda somewhere else.

You are hateful spiteful individual, who has used the deaths of 9 people to peddle your anti SF agenda.

How dare you use the death of brave people to point score.

Crawl back into the hole you crawled out of, and show some respect.

On the subject of the protest, well done to all involved, and it's people like you who make hope for peace possible in Palestine.

Hi Frank!
I note you have no objection to the fact that another poster on this thread mentioned Michael Martin and Fianna Fail's position on the Israel/Palestinian issue , but jump onto your high horse in defence of a different political party re same.
Why is that, I wonder....

You are obviously welcome to, so why not? In fact, since your sharing your concern, I implore you to write an article.

A genuine attempt by good hearted humanitarians protesting against an evil act gets hijacked by our own sectarian point scoring. How is this helping Palestinians?

.....just like (or by?) those that are 'bad hearted' .

Hi Despairo !
"Genuine" protestors should not be so friendly with the leadership of those they are allegedly protesting against. And when those 'genuine protestors' are career politicians - whether Fianna Fail or any other party - then the fact that you are a "good hearted humanitarian" will not prevent them from using you for their own intentions. If anything, your disposition will be of benefit to them in doing so.
Thanks!
