Jump To Comment: 1Hi !
This RSF Rally was held today , as advertised and, apart from the bad weather and the usual attempted interference by the political police , all went well.
A Piper (from the Glens of Antrim) , an RSF Colour Party , representatives from Cumann na mBan and Na Fianna Éireann marched from the Garden of Remembrance in Parnell Square to the GPO in O'Connell Street , where they , and the crowds , were welcomed to the proceedings by the Rally Chairperson , Andy Connolly.
Two Speakers - one representing 'the North' and the other representing 'the South' , delivered speeches , leaflets were distributed and dozens of copies of
the 'SAOIRSE' newspaper were sold , at this very successful event.
A brief report and some photographs can be viewed at the 'Related Link' below ,
and a full report will be published in the October 2010 issue of that newspaper , which goes to print on Wednesday 6th of that month.
Thanks!
Sharon.
