British doctors working in Gaza have described the territory as a ?slaughterhouse,? where the patients they are treating are severely malnourished.

Plastic surgeons and orthopedic specialists from the UK are based at the Amal and Nasser hospitals in Khan Younis in the south of the territory.

Dr. Tom Potokar, a plastic surgeon specializing in burn injuries, has worked in Gaza 16 times but said this mission had revealed a level of destruction far greater than his last visit in 2023,

There is a revolution underway in the world today, a peaceful revolution springing up on every continent on the planet. ARZone.ning.com is proud to announce its reaching a milestone in the service of that revolution. In just ten short months, ARZone has grown from an initial membership of two, to 1000 committed members, all working together to create a vegan world.

ARZone Founding director Carolyn Bailey says “The response to the site has been tremendous, now, with 1000 members across the world, the work being done by hard working people has been more fulfilling than I could have imagined.”

By providing a space for a variety of blog posts, forum discussions, notes, videos and more, ARZone fosters a sense of community among its members. Through live online chats with a diversity of people who work both within and outside of the animal advocacy community, ARZone supports rational discourse and intelligent dialogue about the most pressing issues facing us today.

Guests have included such distinguished members of the animal advocacy movement as Capt. Paul Watson, Gary L. Francione, Melanie Joy, Ronnie Lee, Bruce Friedrich, Pete Bethune and many more. Upcoming scheduled guests include Bob Linden of Go Vegan Radio and Earthlings director Shaun Monson.

ARZone is dedicated to seeing an end to the violence committed against all others, with a particular focus on nonhuman animals. ARZone is opposed to speciesism, and all other “isms” that seek to divide rather than unite. ARZone is committed to non-violence, recognition of and respect for basic rights, and ending the commodification of all sentient beings, nonhuman as well as human.

Using the power of online worldwide connectivity and enlisting the help and input of some of the world’s most committed activists, ARZone’s 1000 members are working towards the day when the most common answer to the question “Do you know what a vegan is?” will be: “Of course I do, I am vegan!”
