How Horses Help![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() See for yourself at a free demonstration On Friday 11th and Saturday 12th September, Moycullen-based social enterprise Horses Connect is running free demonstrations of the EAGALA (Equine Assisted Growth and Learning Association) model of equine assisted interactions. EAGALA work breaks down barriers and changes behavioural patterns. It is a powerful and highly effective means of quickly getting to the root of personal or professional challenges. EAGALA model equine assisted learning is a ground-based, experiential and solution-focused process that is facilitated by an Equine Specialist, a Mental health Professional and one or more horses. The horse is an integral part of the team simply because it is impossible to fake a real connection with an animal who's evolved over millions of years to intuitively understand who can be trusted and who may be experiencing the kind of turmoil that can signal a threat. |
