Jump To Comment: 1 2The DUP have always wanted "direct rule" their blue print for the Northern Assembly gives us nothing but a British government rubber stamped legislature.
In 2004 we should be moving to more delegated powers, stronger North and South links, including political links with the Dail and policing powers vested in Assembly committees.
Stormontgate is just another example of stalling and subversion to deny the people of the six counties the opportunity to move into new forms of government.
The British have failed in their governing of the six counties, the legacy of partition is continued bad rule, a bueauracratic burden, quangos and bad politicians who still line their own pockets.
In 1990 we saw the collapse of sate capitalism, when will the last command economy in western europe fall ?
