This design flaw in ChatGPT-5's default epistemic mode subverts what the much touted ChatGPT-5 can do... so long as the flaw is not tickled, any usage should be fine---The epistemological question is: how would anyone in the public, includes you reading this (since no one is all knowing), in an unfamiliar domain know whether or not the flaw has been tickled when seeking information or understanding of a domain without prior knowledge of that domain???!
This analysis is a pretty unique and significant contribution to the space of empirical evaluation of LLMs that exist in AI public world... at least thus far, as far as I am aware! For what it's worth--as if anyone in the ChatGPT universe cares as they pile up on using the "PhD level scholar in your pocket".
According to GPT-5, and according to my tests, this flaw exists in all LLMs... What is revealing is the deduction GPT-5 made: Why ?design choice? starts looking like ?deliberate flaw?.
People are paying $200 a month to not just ChatGPT, but all major LLMs have similar Pro pricing! I bet they, like the normal user of free ChatGPT, stay in LLM's default mode where the flaw manifests itself. As it did in this evaluation.

I was going to spend a lot of time laying out the case against BUSH, THE CONGRESS, and THE CORPORATIONS OF AMERICA, but since someone did if for me so well, so accurately, and long ago, I thought I would remind you what they said: Replace King George III with George Bush II, and Brittian with American Corporate Kings and Monarchs and, if you have any sense left at all, you'll understand when you read what Americans have obviously forgotten.
"We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. In the Declaration, Jefferson linked Locke's principles directly to the situation in the colonies. To fight for American independence was to fight for a government based on popular consent in place of a government by a king who had "combined with others to subject us to a jurisdiction foreign to our constitution, and unacknowledged by our laws...." And, here is what generations have died defending only to be ripped asunder by the Bush Administration, Corporations, Conglomerates, and OUR OWN CONGRESSMEN...Please forgive my "intrusion into this document", however, this was the best way to present the comparisons......(IN Parenthesis)

He has refused his assent to laws, the most wholesome and necessary for the public good. (violations of Geneva Conventions, refusal of international EPA, Nuclear, and anti-proliferation laws, violations of "sanctity of sovereign nations")
He has forbidden his governors to pass laws of immediate and pressing importance, unless suspended in their operation till his assent should be obtained; and when so suspended, he has utterly neglected to attend to them. (election reforms, civil rights legislations, rights for gays/minorities/women)
He has refused to pass other laws for the accommodation of large districts of people, unless those people would relinquish the right of representation in the legislature, a right inestimable to them and formidable to tyrants only. (protection of the people from corporations, conglomerates, and international influences upon our government)
He has called together legislative bodies at places unusual, uncomfortable, and distant from the depository of their public records, for the sole purpose of fatiguing them into compliance with his measures. (Secret meetings without public scrutiny at the White House, conveining Senate sessions at 2-3am without notifying Democrats, conferences with the Senate and Congress with opposition locked out)
He has dissolved representative houses repeatedly, for opposing with manly firmness his invasions on the rights of the people. (claims that "national security" over-rides the rights afforded to the citizenry or citizens of other soveriegn nations)
He has refused for a long time, after such dissolutions, to cause others to be elected; whereby the legislative powers, incapable of annihilation, have returned to the people at large for their exercise; the state remaining in the meantime exposed to all the dangers of invasion from without, and convulsions within. (the manipulation, fraud, and criminal activities carried out on his behalf by proxies within the election process)
He has endeavored to prevent the population of these states; for that purpose obstructing the laws for naturalization of foreigners; refusing to pass others to encourage their migration hither, and raising the conditions of new appropriations of lands. (the unlawful use of the military for empirical conquests, unreasonable treatment of foreign nationals seeking refuge, asylum, or naturalization in America)
He has obstructed the administration of justice, by refusing his assent to laws for establishing judiciary powers. (the blockage and refusal to participate in the International Criminal Court to prevent legal consequence for the unlawful actions of American government representatives)
He has made judges dependent on his will alone, for the tenure of their offices, and the amount and payment of their salaries. (the appointment of pre-disposed judged without giving credence to their willingness to follow the constitutional laws over and above personal beliefs or "faiths")
He has erected a multitude of new offices, and sent hither swarms of officers to harass our people, and eat out their substance. (the formation and use of "Homeland Security Dept., FBI, and CIA against US citizenry)
He has kept among us, in times of peace, standing armies without the consent of our legislature. (the use of military personel to intimidate protestors in Los Angeles, the deployment of 4,000 combat-ready troops on the streets of D.C.)
He has affected to render the military independent of and superior to civil power. (legislation of the "Patriot Act" and "Homeland Security Acts" violate this mandate.)
He has combined with others to subject us to a jurisdiction foreign to our constitution, and unacknowledged by our laws; giving his assent to their acts of pretended legislation:
For quartering large bodies of armed troops among us: (or overseas)
For protecting them, by mock trial, from punishment for any murders which they should commit on the inhabitants of these states: (the corporations)
For cutting off our trade with all parts of the world: (monopolies)
For imposing taxes on us without our consent: (a 60 year state of war for the express purpose of keeping taxation active)
For depriving us in many cases, of the benefits of trial by jury: (5000 arrested, detained, and kept in solitary without charges, trial, or legal rights)
For transporting us beyond seas to be tried for pretended offenses:
For abolishing the free system of English laws in a neighboring province, establishing therein an arbitrary government, and enlarging its boundaries so as to render it at once an example and fit instrument for introducing the same absolute rule in these colonies: (world contracts with government or sanctioned by government that take away the rights of American Citizens without true representation: WTO, IMF, World Bank)
For taking away our charters, abolishing our most valuable laws, and altering fundamentally the forms of our governments: (Patriot Act)

He has abdicated government here, by declaring us out of his protection and waging war against us. (Patriot and Homeland Security Acts)
He has plundered our seas, ravaged our coasts, burned our towns, and destroyed the lives of our people. (endorsement of anti-environmental policies, rejection of global agreements to reverse pollutions, non-criminal treatment of corporations committing these acts)
He is at this time transporting large armies of foreign mercenaries to complete the works of death, desolation and tyranny, already begun with circumstances of cruelty and perfidy scarcely paralleled in the most barbarous ages, and totally unworthy the head of a civilized nation. (use of "mercenaries" for corporate tyranny in foreign lands for "plausable deniability", refusal to abide by "Geneva Convention")
He has constrained our fellow citizens taken captive on the high seas to bear arms against their country, to become the executioners of their friends and brethren, or to fall themselves by their hands. (Use of National Guard in non-essential, off-shore activities of combat, unlawful invasion, and tyranical acts against foreign nations)
He has excited domestic insurrections amongst us, and has endeavored to bring on the inhabitants of our frontiers, the merciless Indian savages, whose known rule of warfare, is undistinguished destruction of all ages, sexes and conditions. (Their nature is lied about, however today we have: "Bread dissent, hatred, discrimination among the people through harsh rhetoric and inflammatory statements")

In every stage of these oppressions we have petitioned for redress in the most humble terms: our repeated petitions have been answered only by repeated injury. A prince, whose character is thus marked by every act which may define a tyrant, is unfit to be the ruler of a free people. (ACLU, NAACP, women's rights groups, the UN, NATO, foreign dignitaries have all been ignored)
Nor have we been wanting in attention to our British brethren. We have warned them from time to time of attempts by their legislature to extend an unwarrantable jurisdiction over us. We have reminded them of the circumstances of our emigration and settlement here. We have appealed to their native justice and magnanimity, and we have conjured them by the ties of our common kindred to disavow these usurpations, which, would inevitably interrupt our connections and correspondence. We must, therefore, acquiesce in the necessity, which denounces our separation, and hold them, as we hold the rest of mankind, enemies in war, in peace friends.

And for the support of this declaration, with a firm reliance on the protection of Divine Providence, we mutually pledge to each other our lives, our fortunes and our sacred honor.
I would say here.....that most of our presidents since the end of WWII had no interest (truly) in the "greater good of the American people" because time after time we find that since 1950, the president and legislature sided with corporate, military industrialists, or large conglomerates even when their decisions endangered the American and world public. And, unfortunately, even when it would lead to tyranny, civil rights abuses, murder, and empiracal rule over another sovereign nation, our representatives have supported themselves and their equals, not the American People.
This is the result of multi-millionaires running a nation of "average-Joes". No average citizen can run for federal election because none can compete. Those elected are among circles that include industrial, banking, international conglomerates, and the abundantly wealthy....they serve those who are their counterparts or business partners in most cases.
Our nation is now at a cross-roads. I realize this sounds harsh, but at this time there has to be complete reform which would include and is no means limited to:
1) the removal of corporate rights to lobby, donate to campaigns or parties, and the immediate impeachment of all congressmen, senators, administators, and aides who are found to have given businesses, owned or vested in, contracts with Federal or State Funds as well as former elected officials who have used their influence causing damages to the lands, people, or environments of any nation.
2) There should be imposed a "parlamentary" government in which all parties with sufficient petition are included in all applicable elections, debates, and ballots; the representation by percentage of each to be placed in The Federal and State congressional delegations.
3) the immediate arrest and trials of all representatives who have contracted to vested interests or approved the funding there-of, the impeachment of all members who authorized the unconstitutional enactment of the "Patriot Act" and "Homeland Security Acts"; the arrest and trial of all the Bush Administration for violations of the Geneva Convention and the Constitutional Laws of the Republic
4) the arrest and trials of all executives within the media conglomerates for "TREASON" brought about by their exclusion of information, exclusion of fact, and exclusion of diverse opinion with regard to Federal Elections and Federal Policies: followed immediately by the revokation of all their "publically owned" airwave rights and the immediate sales of all their holdings for reparations to the American Public and foreign nations deposited in the US Treasury and allocated as needed.
5) the arrest and criminal trials of all persons involved in "mercenary" activities abroad on behalf of the US or international corporations...and the subsequent confiscation, and sales of all business holdings, the executives and associates of said businesses, and all government officials linked to these organizations should be arrested and tried for international terrorism and crimes against humanity.
6) The implimentation of "FREE and OPEN" elections in the US and all satelites, supervised by NATO, the UN, and an independent international cooperative. To be held immediately after the arrest and detention of the currently elected officials for trial.

provisions contained in the original us constitution specifically forbid the abolition of slavery until i think 1808. they hardly believed all men are created equal. remember george washington owned slaves.
