Is corporate music making us more compliant? In the 1960s, the music led to the money, says James Alexander. Since then, the money has been making the music to the same four chords, and it's all been downhill.

Hey, instead of burning the planes, I've got a better idea:
Convert them into Airships!! With all the current technology, we could knock out large numbers of safe, environmentally friendly quiet and cheap Helium Filled Airships for short-haul air travel, and develop city centre airports in every city to accommodate them! They could be powered by jet engines from scrapped Boeing 737, 757, and 777 airliners, 'downgeared' for operation at 200-300MPH, which 'new generation' Airships such as the Airship Industries SKYCAT will be quite capable of. Several companies such as Airship Industries and even the resurrected German company Zeppelin, are now building or developing new generation Airships. We should all support the spread in use of this new form of travel which in real terms will be about ten times cheaper than the bus over distances up to 1500 km, and will hugely decrease the impact on the Environment because unlike jet planes Airshps will use almost NO fuel in take-off, and require no runways or other expensive airport infrastructure!!!
