What does Free Derry Mean to you? 100 words

YOU ARE NOW ENTERING FREE……………….?

Guildhall Press, the Museum of Free Derry (a Bloody Sunday Trust project) and the Bluebell Arts Project are currently working on a book on the subject of Free Derry Corner.

As part of a very ambitious project, the book will contain a comprehensive history of the monument, an extensive collection of photographs and a wide range of diverse local, national and international opinion on the wall.

We are making public appeals for contributions, and have also identified many people we wish to approach directly for contributions.
What does it mean to YOU?
What does it mean to YOU?

We would like to ask you to contribute to this book by simply answering the question “What does Free Derry Corner mean to you?” in around 100 words. Replies can be returned to the address below, or e-mailed to adrian@bloodysundaytrust.org or info@ghpress.com.

We would like to stress that we genuinely want contributions from as wide a range of opinion as possible, and that no contributions will be edited in such a way as to alter their intended meaning.

All proceeds from the sale of this book, which we intend to release this summer, will go directly back into the community through the organisations involved in its production.

We would hope to include all contributions given, but due to constraints on space this cannot be guaranteed.

If you have any queries concerning this project please contact me at the address below, or Paul Hippsley (Guildhall Press) on (028) 7136 4413.

Yours sincerely
