Unlike Jeremy Corbyn, Keir Starmer has never described Hezbollah as his friends. But other than that, when it comes to Israel there is now little of consequence to differentiate them, says Stephen Pollard.

Is the 'Muslim vote' set to abandon Labour? With three quarters of British Muslims refusing to believe Hamas committed atrocities on October 7th, it's hard to see how Labour can retain them, says Frank Haviland.

RSF Oppose British Royal Visit

RSF oppose British Royal visit

Statement by Des Dalton, Vice President, Republican Sinn Féin

The visit by the husband of the British head of State to Dublin on
April 26 is merely a warm-up for a visit by the Queen of England to
the 26 Counties. Republican Sinn Féin oppose this, or future visits,
by representatives of a State which claims jurisdiction over part of
Ireland. This is a claim, which is, and has been in the past,
enforced by military might on the Irish people.

The February edition of Saoirse linked the aborted loyalist march in
Dublin on February 25 with a proposed visit by the English Queen.
All of this is part of a campaign to normalise British rule in Ireland.
Something which will never be either acceptable or normal. Saoirse
said: "the siren voices tell Republicans to ignore this loyalist
march. If we do, they will return with even greater insistence and
tell us to ignore the state Visit of the Queen of England. In other
words, to stay away, make no protest, and accept finally that the
Six Occupied Counties belong to England. Is that what you want?
NEVER."

"Support Sinn Féin and put your rhetoric into action."

'Support rhetoric' like this , you mean -

" Republicans are prepared to work an Executive . We are really prepared to administer British rule in Ireland for the foreseeable future . The very principle of partition is accepted . "
- PSF elected representative Francie Molloy , March 1999 .

And they certainly are prepared to put that sentiment into 'action' !

Sharon .

Republican Sinn Fein will hold a picket at Iveagh House, 80 St Stephens Green, Dublin on April 26 at 12.30pm in protest at the visit of the husband of the Queen of England. While British troops occupy any part of our country, British royals are not welcome.

one who has heriditary power and represents the class system globally and whose governments are and have always been engaged in illegal war, whose regime has not ratified international human rights declarations, whose governments disregards the wishes of Irish people (either side of the DeValera/Carson frontier) to see closed nuclear facilities which produce plutonium.

:- thats a good reason. Then be consistent & protest every billionaire visit.

She's the Brit Queen - is a lame reason. Oh well, different people do their things for different reasons. I'll still be glad you protested though.

I'll be out protesting at his temerity to claim that he is the Duke of Edinburgh. Awa' wi' ye! The Scots want no kilted Greeks! (Not that hes really a Greek either. The Greek Royal family had Danish, German, Russian and English blood but not a drop of Greek blood.)

The Guards are out in numbers around Stephen's Green and Earlsfort Terrace area. It's good to see that they're there when needed. A fine use of tax-payers money. Together with their fine showing at Baldonnel and Shannon, it is clear that their enthusiasitc defence of power continues as normal.

What with the Celtic Tiger and the Wind Power, we don't have to think they're looking down on us now, we're just as good as them, and no doubt about it, and we don't have the sin of all the poor little babies on our conscience. Its like we're independent now, we've the Euro and the terraces in front of the cafés, Bertie has made us all proud at the GPO, and Michael has made us all healthier by banning the cigs. I only wish JFK had lived to see the day.

I'll be putting out the best biscuits.
