Activists distribute poster-size copies of 1916 Proclamation across Dublin
éirígí, the newly formed Socialist Republican campaigns group, launched it’s ‘Reclaim the Republic/Athshealbhaígí an Phoblacht’ campaign over the course of last weekend. The campaign aims to bring the message of 1916 to the people and trigger a debate about the nature of modern day Ireland and how it compares to the Ireland envisioned in the Proclamation of the Irish Republic.
In attempting to make this a reality, éirígí has begun to distribute thousands of full colour poster-size copies of the Proclamation to the citizens of Dublin on a not for profit basis. Over the course of the weekend éirígí activists distributed hundreds of copies of the Proclamation in various location across the city, including, Tallaght, Crumlin, Walkinstown, Drumcondra, Ballybough and the City Centre. éirígí activists will continue to distribute these posters over the coming weeks and months. Any donations received will be used to cover the cost of printing additional posters for further distribution. In this way éirígí hopes to ensure that the Proclamation will hang with pride in homes, workplaces and schools across the city.

The campaign aims to bring the message of 1916 to the people and trigger a debate about the nature of modern day Ireland and how it compares to the Ireland envisioned in the Proclamation of the Irish Republic.
The campaign asks what the unfinished business is that needs to be concluded before an Irish Republic based upon the 1916 Proclamation can be established. The campaign further encourages people to reclaim their rights as citizens of the Irish Republic declared in 1916. These rights include:
• The right to religious and civil liberty, equal rights and equal opportunities for all people
• The Right to pursue the happiness and prosperity of the whole nation and all of its parts
• The right that all of the children of the nation be cherished equally
éirígí views the 1916 Proclamation as the seminal document of modern Irish History. It is a living document as relevant today, in many ways, as it was ninety years ago. It should hang with pride in every home, workplace and school in the country.

Also, an Irish language version(as well as Chinese, Polish and Spanish versions) of the Proclamation poster available on this page:

I don't think there is any official Gaelic version of this "Forógra na Poblachta".
Seems to have been a bit of an oversight on the part of the signatories.
They didn't issue a bilingual version.
Cá bhfaighinn an leagan Gaeilge den Fhógra seo?
R u all for real or just eirigí under pseudonymns?
This is an absolutely fantastic development. Keep up the good work. I will certainly make a donation towards the non-profit distribution of Proclamations. I will the check excellent Eirigi website to see if there is a way to give money- a standing order form perhaps?
Good idea with the proclamations - keep her up and all the best .
Can I get involved?? Will send eirigi an e-mail. Adh mor
Great idea to be non-affiliated. Everyone can support this initiative if its not linked to a particular political party I presume?
a great idea, fair play!
West-Dublin sometime? Ha ha, you've done enough work as is-well done.
Coinnigh suas leis an dea-obair-keep up with the great work.
Any plans to hold any public meeting so more people can get to know more about you? I'd go, gan amhras.
Great idea. Hopefully the people that receive the posters will read whats on it and realise what they're missing out on. Hope to see the posters on the Northside soon ;-)
