Rachel will be running voice workshops with the women, exploring the role of voice in daily ritual and how it can be used for personal and group transformation. As well as this she will interpreting for Judith Hoad, (herbalist and author amongst other amazing things!) who has been invited to help indigenous women to re-establish their traditional customs around pregnancy and birth by giving them skills to employ in a home-birthing system they are trying to establish. The money raised will contribute towards the transport, food and accommodation costs of running these workshops and for the purchase of supplies needed by the women’s groups.
