Materialism of Religions to blame for Secatarianism.

It's amazing that an active politician, albeit of the right, has found himself in the privileged
position of both funding and financing a hate crime movie. The man know the laws of
his country and is an elected official thus we can all presume that the only reason that
he made it was for ego-indulgence. Lots of politicos do that- its called abuse of office.

How far we have come from being privileged to study the word and poetry of Islam?
Sufism provided many international writers with an area of study and cross-cultural
pollination that has benefited Western art and literature in the poetry of Hughes and
the writing of Lessing , to name two. Westergaard got an injunction to have his
image removed- it was opposed to fanaticism, not Islam.

The Major religions are meant to teach and guide people through the difficulties of life
but they have descended into a language of materialism that seeks to define both the
idea of God and of the individual in mechanistic terms.. Religion is as globalised as
culture.

hatred and incitement.

the issue of Islam has been very, very delicate since the Pope trod onto the Volcano
and was forced into apology, but Wilder's response is to is just clip his film all over the
place.: (self -censorship to avoid the law suits. ignore it , don't buy it)

The reasons why Religious Leaders seem so divided from their essential common root
and have hived off into warring factions seem grounded in the loss of the mystic side
of their rules, laws and dogmatic systems- interesting that in a time of war and despair:

mystic and apocryphal joint roots and focussing on the materiality of definition.

We have the right to free expression and an indymedia, and except for a few small

Wilder is a politician who does not get that and is hoping to cover his big arse
through incitement by any other means. my Islamic friends say that their
portrayal is unfair in media and this kind of abusive shite feeds so neatly into
predijuice. Why is he not resigning?
