RSF have said that the revelation this morning that RUC Supremo Hugh Orde ordered the redeployment of special units of the British Crown Forces demonstrates that they were correct in stating that the renaming of 'Operation Banner' to 'Operation Helvetic' was meaningless.

The revelation this morning that RUC Supremo Hugh Orde ordered the redeployment of special units of the British Crown Forces demonstrates that RSF were correct in stating that the renaming of 'Operation Banner' to 'Operation Helvetic' was meaningless, a spokesman for the organisation has said.

“We said at the time that regular British military support for the RUC could be reinstated at any time, and that reinforcements were only a helicopter's flight away.

“Alex Maskey cannot feign indignation about the return of these malign forces, given his party's open and unambivalent support for those who have made this decision. Indeed the Provos have been engaged in a prolonged campaign of innuendo and misinformation against Republicans in an attempt to garner public support for the liquidation of the Republican base.

“Incidentally, wholly discredited supergrass evidence was also recently readmitted for use in British court proceedings a quarter of a century after it was scrapped.

“The Provos fought the last Stormont election campaign under the banner 'Others Promise, We Deliver'. Unfortunately they were not prepared to admit what they intended to deliver.”

All this from the Leonid Brezhnev of Irish politics. Your stodgy party is led by a 76 year old who is grooming his son to take over the party. Your core political belief is that some elected representatives from the 1918 election ‘secretly’ gave your party permission to hold the soul of Ireland for future generations. Get real.
