Criticism of Islam is a Protected Belief, Judge Rules Sun Nov 09, 2025 09:00 | Toby Young
In a landmark Employment Tribunal ruling, a judge has found that being critical of Islam is a protected belief under the Equality Act. This renders the Government's efforts to ban 'Islamophobia' largely pointless.

Joining the Dots Between Bill Gates and the BBC Sun Nov 09, 2025 07:00 | Ben Pile
What connects the scandal of the BBC doctoring Jan 6th footage to cast Trump in a bad light and Bill Gates's retreat from climate alarmism? More than you might think, says Ben Pile. It's all about how the Blob is made.

Jump To Comment: 8 7 6 5 4 3 2 1This horrible story of a double murder inside a German court was played down - and continues to be accepted without questioning of the actualy events - by both the German government and the media from the very beginning. It only really came to light after Egyptians demonstrated and President Mubarak confronted Chancellor Merkel about it at the G8 Summit - and after Iran's Ahmedinajad asked the UN to investigate this obviously racist crime.
The Germans hastily put together some kind of demonstration in Dresden against racism more than a week after the event, and after Merkel had been thus embarrassed.
A man (who identity is still unknown to the public, and the description of whose background "man of German descent who immigrated to Germany in 2003" is more than murky ) is accused by an Egyptican Muslim woman living in Germany with her scientist husband of calling her a terrorist because she wears a head scarf, attacks this pregnant woman in court, stabs her 18 times (in front of her small child and husband), to which the court police or guards (nobody really seems to know) respond by shooting her husband, who tries to help her!
And it seems that this racist animal is being indcited for manslaughter, not murder!!!
Although the German media has reported this incident now in a rather vague way, there seem to have been no interviews with wtinesses, not questions posed to politicians.
Germany has simply taken anti Semitism and transferred it to Isamophobia. Muslims are Germany's new Jews.
Good analysis of German media reaction on UK Guardian newspaper website;
(A murder that Germany ignored )
Individual racist thug murders woman. Individual racist thug will be sent to jail for a long time as a result of this crime.
Finally a good article in Berlin newspaper Tageszeitung today ( http://www.taz.de/1/politik/deutschland/ ) covering the protest against the killing in Dresden (for those who can read German);
To quote you;
'getting back to the original article, isn't it curious that there are demonstrations for this so-called "headscarf martyr" but no demos for the more than 100 Uighur Muslims who have died and thousands more arrested in China last week? no protest has been heard on the streets of major Muslim cities for them. why not?'
I wasn't aware of any demos in Ireland over the "headscarf martyr". Personally I'd protest against Chinese imperialism/racism in so-called Xinjiang. Why there have been no protests over that is a mystery to me too.
and what about the genocide of Darfuri Black Muslims at the hands of the Arab janjaweed militia and the Sudanese government? can someone point me to any mass protests for those suffering Muslim Darfurians? that persecution is now 6 years old.
Ditto, but I thought Amnesty International Ireland and Concern had campaigns on this issue.
Greg T asks the valid question:
When are Germans going to wake up to the appalling racism in their midst that allowed this to happen?
while this particular case is very sad, racism is hardly new in modern Germany. (we won't talk about the past). every since the Berlin wall came down there has been renewed racism, particularly in East Germany.
take the case of Miriam Neuschfer, who has dark skin. the 32-year-old mother of five and wife of a German clergyman has been insulted, spat at and attacked - by ordinary Germans. the daily racism drove the pastor's family from a small town in eastern Germany back to the their former home in the west.
